Pizzera Trio, 1907 Avenue U, Brooklyn NY 11229

I went to visit NY this November on a personal visit & visited a local favorite of mine. Pizzeria Trio is a small pizza joint nestled in the heart of Avenue U in Brooklyn. I took my daughters in with me to eat lunch. This restaurant had a huge selection of pizza styles. I took an eggplant, ricotta & fresh basil slice. One of my daughters took a plain round slice and my other daughter took a penne vodka pasta slice. I tasted each one & was absolutely delighted. The crust was the perfect consistency. It was thin & wonderfully crispy. The sauce was mildly sweet, but very good. It wasn't too sweet. and all of the toppings were fresh and just very delicious. I was very pleased with the pizza & I believe, so were my girls. We devoured the slices. Even my daughter, who's not a big eater, finished her slice.  The workers were also very friendly & courteous, which made the experience all the more delightful. I really have only good things to say about the pizza. On a scale of 1 (worst)-10 (best), the crust was definately a 10! the sauce, I would rate a 7, only because it didn't really stand out much from everything else on the pizza. The cheese I would rate a 10 as well. It was the perfect amount (not too heavy). It was spread out right and tasted good. On an overall scale of 1-10, I believe I would rate this pizza a 9, but very close to becoming a 10.  The crust is really what did it for me. The toppings were also all very tasty & fresh. They didn't fall apart once you bit into them.
If your ever in town, check out Trio's pizzeria and be sure to tell them Karen sent you :).
Please do give me some feedback on what you think once you go there.
Thanks!
