The Pizza mans Daughter

Dearest Pizza Lovers, Welcome Aboard!

I am the daughter of a Pizza man. My father had brought a pizzeria in the famous Brooklyn , NY when I was only 6 years old. So you can say, that I grew up with a taste for fine pizza.  This was a family business. My brothers & I had practically grown up there. We ate there, worked there, and now bring our own children there to eat. It was my little hangout with friends after school.  It's funny, but my friends would always ask me how come I wasn't sick of pizza yet. To be honest with you, I don't know why. All I know is that till this day, I still love pizza. It is truly my favorite food of all. I wonder how I didn't end up looking like a pizza lol... I created this blog because of my love for pizza and for my endless search to always find the best pizza out there. Of coarse, along the way, I'm sure I'll encounter the worst ones as well. All I know is that I have been eating pizza my whole life and pretty frequently too. I guess you could sort of call me a conosseur of fine pizza or just "The Pizza man's daughter!". I will attempt to find the best pizza out there along my journey.I will be your Pizza Critic. Every state that I will travel to, I will be on my quest to find the perfect pizza. So when you travel in these places as I have, you will have a bit of advice on where to find that perfect slice, and where to steer clear away from. All I have left to say is: "Pizza owners all over the world "BEWARE!" because here comes the Pizza mans Daughter!

Antonella's Pizzeria & Restaurant 152 Calle Rafael Cordero Plaza De Armas Old San Juan, PR

This Restaurant I visited claims to have NY Style Pizza in the Heart of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Its been rated a 4-5 Star rating on Trip Advisor & PuertoRicoExplore.com. They are open from 11am-9 pm Daily. My family & I happened to stop over there on our family trip. One night we went touring the city & happened to come across this place. It looked clean & the pizza looked good. When you go away, you definitely need to make sure you eat at places that at least appear to be clean. The last thing you want to do is get food poisoning & get sick. We ordered a pie of pizza. The Slices were pretty big.  Surprisingly, the pizza was pretty good. I wouldn't say it's NY Pizza exactly, but it was not too far behind. The crust was crispy & just right. It wasn't too thick or thin. The sauce was very tasty & sweet. The cheese was spread on just right. On a scale from 1-10(worst-best) I rate this pizza a 7. I would recommend if your in the San Juan area anytime soon & you're in the mood for a slice, definitely check out Antonella's Pizzeria Restaurant. They were also very friendly, which always makes every experience more pleasant. Thumbs Up Antonella's :+)
