Del Vecchios Pizzeria, 1795 Bell Tower Lane, Weston, Fl. 33326

Well, The holidays were over & my family came in from NY to visit. We were on the pursuit for some delicious pizza.  Apparently,  my brother stayed in the Weston area by Bonaventure.  There was a cute little town center with shops nearby. Low & Behold, a pizza parlor named Del Vecchio's stood out, but how would it's pizza measure up now?. We ordered a plain pie. It looked okay, but to my dismay, it only averaged a score of "5" on that previous scale of 1-10. The crust was not crispy, the pizza dough was a bit thick and doughy in texture.  The sauce was not sweet at all. It was more on the salty side, if anything. And, there was way too much cheese on the slice. I was truly not pleased. The taste was nothing special. It just did not stand out. On the other hand, we also ordered the square sicilian slice, which was mildly better. It had the same consistencies, the only difference was that it had a bit of fresh basil & tomatoes on the slice, and the crust was a tiny bit more crispy than the round slice. Was it Amazing??? I could honestly tell you-No!.  I was not impressed. Neither was the rest of the clan.  Therefore, My quest to find a better slice in Weston, Florida, still goes on. I will keep you guys updated. Until that day comes, I would not recommend Del Vecchio's to all of you out there. Have a Wonderful Night to all! Now go & eat some PIZZA :)   lol.....
