(Kosher) Cafe 56 , 4051 Stirling Road, Davie Fl. 33314

Hi there ! my fellow pizza lovers,
It's been a bit too long since I've posted any new posts. Guess life just got in the way. We are now in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Things are pretty crazy right now in the world. This has been going on for months now. People have been home more and venturing out less. I have been included in this mix of people.  Obviously, I still crave a good slice of pizza every now & then. That much hasn't changed at least. If your in the Hollywood Florida area & are craving a pizza that's a bit more on the doughy side, then boy do I have a place for you. There is one catch however, this pizza place is at my local Gas Station. No! you didn't hear that wrong.  This spot is actually a small cafe called Cafe 56 (Kosher) & it's located in a small gas station by, you guessed it--56th avenue in Hollywood. But don't feel discouraged by the fact that it's in a gas station.  Give it a chance. Hey! I did!. The pizza crust is doughy. The pizza is a 6 on a scale of 1-10  (10 being highest). There's a good amount of cheese and the sauce is ok, but what this pizza is lacking is a crispy crust. The owners are super friendly & will do everything possible to make your experience in their restaurant, a happy & fulfilling one.  I suggest you check out the place. You won't be disappointed. There are also salads, sandwiches and calzones to add to the list of yummies. There is a really unique special type of calzone that they offer, that  I think you'd enjoy. Its a calzone with a sunny side egg on top. It's in my pictures below. It was delicious!.  Give it a try!! they do deliver, I believe, on Ubereats and the kosher24 app. for those of you that are not ready to venture out yet due to the quarantine.   Please don't forget to leave a comment below if you try out any of these pizza places on my blog.
